Alenush holds a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) and an Advanced Diploma in Applied Social Science (Counselling). She is a registered member of the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA). With over a decade of experience in private practice, Alenush has supported men, women, children/youth, and families through a wide range of personal and emotional challenges. Her professional experience includes working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and trauma, as well as supporting women affected by domestic violence. She also has experience working with youth in both clinical settings and elite sports programs.

As a counsellor, Alenush is compassionate, grounded, and deeply committed to creating an authentic therapeutic relationship. Her approach is client-centred and collaborative, clients guide the direction and pace of each session, while she walks alongside them, offering reflection, support, and encouragement. She believes every individual holds the inner wisdom and strength to navigate life’s challenges, and her role is to help them access that insight through respectful, empowering, and trust-building relationships.

Alenush draws on evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based therapies, and integrates play and art therapy when working with children. She strives to foster a warm and respectful environment where trust, autonomy, and personal growth can thrive.
